Dr. Floyd grew up in Strafford, Missouri, just outside of Springfield, and graduated from Strafford High School in 2006. He earned a cross country scholarship to run at Southwestern Community College (SWCC) in Creston, Iowa. He later continued his education at the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC), earning a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Chemistry in 2012 before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from UMKC in 2017.
Dr. Floyd is passionate about oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, digital dentistry, and dental implants, and he enjoys staying current with the latest techniques and technology in dentistry. As owner of Anchored Family Dental & Implants, Dr. Floyd is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. He is an Invisalign provider and offers same-day crowns, full-mouth implant solutions, and advanced digital dental services. Dr. Floyd enjoys incorporating advanced technology such as digital scanning, 3D printing, same-day crowns, and guided implant surgery to provide efficient, comfortable, and high-quality care for his patients. His professional memberships include the American Dental Association and the Iowa Dental Association.
Dr. Floyd married his high school sweetheart, Whitney, and together they have four children: Grayson, Brynlei, Peyton, and Maverick. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family, running, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and traveling. Summers and holidays are often spent enjoying time near the ocean with family. Dr. Floyd and his wife, Whitney, are passionate about their faith, family, and community and are actively involved in foster care.
